'C' Company Gala - New York City

'C' Company is a national network of young professionals dedicated to electing General Wesley K. Clark as the next President of the United States. Focused on fundraising and outreach, 'C' Company has thousands of members in cities across America from varied backgrounds including bankers, teachers, lawyers, consultants and social workers. Members also come from across the political spectrum and many have not been deeply involved in politics before. However, despite the diversity of the group, all are united in a common cause: to see General Clark elected as the next President of the United States.

'C' Company Membership
To become a member of 'C' Company, each young professional must make a commitment to donate at least $100 to the campaign during the primary season as well as introduce their network of friends and colleagues to General Clark and 'C' Company. Upon the first donation of $25 or more, a member will receive the limited edition 'C' Company pin and formally be added to the 'C' Company invitation list for both public and private 'C' Company events. Once a member both reaches the $100 donation mark AND has brought five new people into the 'C' Company network, they will be become a Four Star, receiving special rates and invitations to 'C' Company events.

'C' Company Mission
'C' Company is focused on two goals: outreach and fundraising. In order to broaden General Clarks base of support among the young professional constituency, 'C' Company members are encouraged to invite their network of friends and colleagues to a range of 'C' Company and campaign events to learn more about the General and his platform. Each local 'C' Company chapter hosts events targeted to the young professional demographic, from weekly happy hours at local bars, to periodic galas or concerts with well-known bands. Although most 'C' Company events are open to the public to draw a larger audience for the Generals message, the target is attracting young professional participants.

The fundraising component of 'C' Company results primarily from these outreach efforts. Although there are some no-cost events, most activities have a price attached, which adds to each members overall contribution. Money is raised as existing members attend paid events and invite their friends to join the network.

'C' Company Momentum
'C' Company offers busy young professionals the opportunity to make a difference in the 2004 presidential contest with only a modest time commitment. Through the various activities sponsored by 'C' Company, members and guests are able to meet others who share a common commitment to removing Bush and putting a quality leader in the White House. These political, social and educational events are accessible to everyone seeking to learn more about General Clark and provide an exciting vehicle for taking action.
