Getting Ready for your Meetup
Thank you for taking the next step towards sending Wes Clark to the White House. Tens of thousands of grassroots supporters just like you are dedicating their time, talents and passion towards this campaign. We need your help. What began as a draft movement is, today, a unified national campaign under the leadership and vision of General Wesley Clark.

Reaching people in your community requires more than email. Get out there, post flyers and spread the word about this exciting grassroots campaign.
Be sure to prepare adequate materials to best organize your Meetup, including:

This month you'll be asked to screen the 17 minute biopic "American Son". If you've provided your mailing address for previous Meetups, you'll receive a VHS copy by mail in time for your Meetup, otherwise, please download it here. If you have a venue that supports video projection (or if you can bring a TV), great. If not, one or more laptops with speakers and projectors could be available with the video loaded and running. Ask around, your volunteers will be happy to help find this equipment.

We know that not all venues will be ideal for your Meetup. We will work with you and Meetup to improve venue selection, but in the meantime, make the best of it by visiting in advance of your Meetup, talk to the manager and let them know what to expect.

Alerting local press, university papers and other media of your Meetup and any special activities you have planned is encouraged and very valuable for the campaign.
