Little Rock - Wes Clark issued the following statement today:

"Thanksgiving Day is a day when all Americans show their appreciation for the many blessings we share together. The Pilgrims gave thanks for having come safely to the shores of Massachusetts and for the success of their first harvest, celebrating with their Native American neighbors. Every generation of Americans has carried on this tradition of giving thanks for the many blessings we have received."

"Today, we must be especially grateful for the blessings of liberty, for the sacrifices of those who have defended that liberty, and for the young men and women in our armed forces who continue to defend it today. Gert and I wish all Americans and their families a very happy Thanksgiving."
